Jbeil Byblos Railway Opening 1942
I enjoyed seeing this footage. I worked in Lebanon and saw parts of the Beirut - Tripoli Railway and always thought what a great pity the railway wasn't in operation (1990's). Now I know why. I also now realise that the railway was built by Australian soldiers - before they got sent to New Guinea.
