Our transdisciplinary approach integrates both teaching and therapy (music, occupational and speech) throughout all programs which are designed to be motivating, engaging and individualised. Teachers and therapists work together to create 'socially and emotionally rich' learning environments aimed at increasing levels of engagement in learning across all age groups. We provide the following services: Early Intervention (18 months - 5 years) School (Prep to Year 12) GS Community College (Young Adults) Diagnostic and Asessment Centre Rob Llewellyn-Jones Clinical Centre Training and Professional Development Services Outreach Services Our Services ~~~~~~~~~ Giant Steps has a multifaceted approach to the provision of services to children with autism and their families, whilst spreading a culture of caring and professional excellence through the broader community. Our school provides a transdisciplinary approach to education combining music, occupational and speech therapy delivered across the programs. We also offer professional skill development for staff and other health professionals. Our Community College provides young adults with a relevant and engaging learning and recreational post-school environment. Meanwhile, our outreach services range from private speech, occupational and music therapies to educational support, parent training and training amongst professionals and providers in the wider community.
